Street-wear has (always) been difficult to define. Maybe the usual terms used in fashion and history of fashion and costumes are not suitable for the definition of the style, which used to be related to a specific subculture of urban young and independent rebellious people. Nowadays, street-wear has (almost) become the mainstream in contemporary casual clothing. It is true that street-wear undergoes permanent evolution with several constant elements described as casual, comfortable pieces, baseball caps, and sneakers… You may… or may not like it, you may or may not enjoy wearing clothes belonging to street-wear style, but one thing is sure – it will make you look younger. However, there’s a trap – it may make you feel “uniformed”, but you may always play with colors and items and add details typical to your sensibility, which will contribute to your uniqueness… the same way we “play” with ties, socks, watch-bracelets, eyewear, scarves and other details… En general, I feel good about it. At least during weekends… and as long as it makes me feel and look young(er)!
