My look: No orange without blue!

Kandinsky said that orange is “red brought nearer to humanity by yellow”, which is true in every sense, to start with the scientific side of the statement: orange is, according to the spectral color coordinates, wavelength and frequency, located between red and yellow. Orange is often associated with activity, aromatic taste, extroversion and unconventional autumn season…

Vincent Van Gogh is ‘responsible’ for the adorable contrast between blue, light blue (celeste blu), turquoise, aquamarine blue and orange dans toute sa splendeur. Being the cadmium pigment, orange absorbs blue light. No wonder it is considered complimentary to blue, as Van Gogh said: “There is no blue without yellow and without orange.”

[Outfit: Monsieur Elyseés, Paris and Valentino matched with accessories from Giorgio Armani, Cerruti 1881 and Cavalli… with my favorite Terre d’Hermès, Paris, parfum pour homme.]
