Casual and chic: summer color blocking!
One of the most interesting and influential contemporary fashion designers, dedicated to the re-interpretation of cuts and fabric in contemporary fashion, Neil Barrett designed this extraordinary cotton-and-silk sweater, which I liked since the first time I saw it. After the period spent at Gucci and Prada, a decade after the foundation of his own brand “Neil Barrett” (including the e-store), the designer started producing the clothes in his production division in Tuscany, making the collections “Made in Italy”, which are presented every year in Milan.
To “block” this ‘casual&chic’ outfit, the sweater was matched with the light grey mercerized cotton polo from Valentino, yellow jeans from Versace and mocs from Bally, with the accessories from Cesare Paciotti (bag and belt) and Dolce&Gabbana (glasses). The fragrance is the “old” good woody floral musk by Tom Ford.
